See current inFlow plans →Cheaper than inFlow: Zoho Inventory and Sortly
Zoho Inventory has the lowest paid entry here. Its Standard plan is $29 a month on annual billing with 500 orders a month, three users and two locations. Premium is $79 with 3,000 orders and five users, and adds serial and batch tracking. The trade-off is that every Zoho plan meters orders, while inFlow Inventory includes unlimited sales and purchase orders on every plan. See inFlow against Zoho Inventory for the detail.
Sortly is built for counting and locating things rather than running sales. Its plans are capped by unique items: 500 on Advanced, 2,000 on Ultra at $149 a month and 5,000 on Premium at $299 a month, all on monthly billing. Purchase orders start on Ultra. The Sortly comparison covers who should pick which.
For manufacturers: Katana and Fishbowl
Katana's Core plan starts at $299 a month with unlimited users, SKUs and integrations, one inventory location, and usage-based charges for sales orders delivered and extra locations. Its free plan includes all features up to 30 SKUs. inFlow's own manufacturing line, inFlow Manufacturing, starts at $169 a month billed annually with two team members.
Fishbowl splits into two lines. Fishbowl Inventory runs from $229 to $729 a month billed annually and does not include bills of materials, work orders or MRP. Fishbowl Advanced Manufacturing starts at $675 a month and is confirmed by quote. Read inFlow against Fishbowl before booking a demo.
For higher order volume: Cin7 Core and Finale Inventory
Cin7 Core Standard is $349 a month with five users, unlimited locations and 6,000 sale orders a year. Pro is $599 with ten users and 24,000 orders, and Advanced is $1,199. Finale Inventory starts at $499 a month for Essentials and $799 for Growth, which adds its mobile barcode warehouse module. Both are sold through a demo. Both cost more than inFlow Core at $299 a month billed annually, which includes five team members and five locations.
Where inFlow Inventory fits and where it does not
inFlow Inventory fits a wholesaler, distributor or field service team of two to twenty people that wants sales orders, purchasing, barcode scanning and a QuickBooks Online or Xero connection in one tool, with no cap on orders or products. It publishes month-to-month prices and offers a 14-day trial with no card.
It fits less well in three cases. A one-person business with a small catalog can start free on Zoho Inventory or Sortly. A team that needs lot or serial tracking pays a $39 monthly add-on for each on Lite, Core and Pro. And on Core and above a one-time $499 onboarding package is required.
Which alternative to pick by buyer type
- Solo seller under 50 orders a month: Zoho Inventory free plan.
- Team tracking tools, supplies or assets, not sales: Sortly, or inFlow Stockroom at $69 a month billed annually.
- Small manufacturer with many users: Katana Core, because seats are unlimited.
- Wholesaler with two to ten staff: inFlow Inventory Lite, Core or Pro.
- Manufacturer needing MRP or self-managed hosting: Fishbowl Advanced.
- Multichannel seller above 6,000 orders a year with several warehouses: Cin7 Core or Finale Inventory.
