inFlow Inventory vs Sortly entry prices
Sortly is cheaper to start: it has a free plan with 100 unique items and one user, and its first paid plan, Advanced, is $49 a month on monthly billing. inFlow Inventory has no free plan and starts at $99 a month billed annually or $129 month to month for Lite. All figures are in US dollars as read on 3 October 2026.
Sortly's yearly prices need care. On the day of reading its page showed a promotion: $24 a month for Advanced on a yearly plan, billed at $288, with 50% off the first year for new customers only and a 20% yearly discount after that. The monthly-billing prices of $49, $149 and $299 are the stable comparison.

What inFlow Inventory does that Sortly's plan table does not list
inFlow runs the selling side. Its feature list covers sales quotes, orders, invoices, back orders, pick, pack and ship, shipping labels, returns and customer balances, and it pushes stock levels to online stores. The integrations in Sortly's plan table are AppFolio, Amazon Business ordering, QuickBooks Online, Slack, Microsoft Teams, webhooks and its API. It lists no Shopify, marketplace or carrier connection.
inFlow also does not meter the catalog. A parts distributor with 6,000 SKUs fits Lite at $99 a month billed annually, while Sortly's published tiers stop at 5,000 unique items before Enterprise.
What Sortly does that inFlow Inventory does not list
Sortly has a permanent free plan, which inFlow does not. It also lists offline mobile access, so staff can update counts out of signal range and sync later, and item check-in and check-out for tools and equipment that are lent and returned. inFlow's official feature list does not include an offline mode or a check-out workflow.
Sortly's paid plans also attach items to jobs or work orders, with five active jobs on Advanced and ten on Ultra, which suits contractors tracking materials per project.
Who should pick Sortly, inFlow Inventory or inFlow Stockroom
- Pick Sortly if you track tools, supplies or assets, have under 2,000 distinct items, and do not invoice customers from the same system.
- Pick inFlow Inventory if you sell stock to customers and need orders, purchasing and reorder points to move stock automatically. The plan breakdown shows what Lite includes.
- Consider inFlow Stockroom if you like Sortly's simplicity but want unlimited products and unlimited scanning users. It is $69 a month billed annually or $89 monthly, with two admin members and no sales, costing or reordering.
If neither fits, the alternatives comparison lists five more options.
What switching from Sortly to inFlow involves
Sortly organizes items in folders. inFlow organizes them by location, sublocation and category. Before moving, decide which Sortly folders become locations and which become categories.
- Export your Sortly item list to a spreadsheet.
- Give every item a unique name and SKU. A SKU naming scheme helps here.
- Import products into inFlow with the product details CSV template.
- Import quantities with the stock levels file, which needs product name, location and quantity.
- Run a count on a few shelves to confirm the numbers match.
Moving the other way loses sales and purchase history, since Sortly's plan table has no sales order record to receive it. Prices were read on 3 October 2026 and can change.
